Well, since I'm known to like playing - this one was a must!<br /><br />I came by this stamp over a year ago from my craft group, but I've forgotten the name and maker. It's cute sticklike image and the football season approaching, made it jump out of the box. So I used the local Premier Team's colours and designed this.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluIQUa7rI/AAAAAAAABtI/HLG_JpIpydE/s1600-h/PICT1005.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 195px; height: 195px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluIQUa7rI/AAAAAAAABtI/HLG_JpIpydE/s200/PICT1005.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366441519087283890" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />To make it a bit different I made it a "wibbly, wobbly" card (probably not the proper name!). I've seen this done with an acetate strip, but using wire produces a much better wibble, wobble!<br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluIk58QzI/AAAAAAAABtQ/X3nCAv_KmFI/s1600-h/PICT1017.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 192px; height: 168px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluIk58QzI/AAAAAAAABtQ/X3nCAv_KmFI/s200/PICT1017.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366441524613366578" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I was so pleased with the results of "playing" and with some new ideas that jumped out of my head, that I will be using this card in my tutorial next week. So if you think it interesting - drop by the Cupboard on Monday.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluI62VnTI/AAAAAAAABtY/stCjgM8dOHk/s1600-h/PICT1013.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 191px; height: 138px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnluI62VnTI/AAAAAAAABtY/stCjgM8dOHk/s200/PICT1013.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366441530503830834" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />Thanks Stamptacular for the challenge.<br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/85705/ikkiscorner/8565cd2173233134f4ffae023d5fee67.png" border="0" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2047480255873720256.post-31113048126931447412009-08-01T17:12:00.006+01:002009-08-01T17:44:50.072+01:00Inside Out cardSince I'm relatively new to stamping, I though I'd have a go at this challenge from <a href="http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2009/08/build-card-bonus-fun-winner.html">Stamptacular Sunday Challenge</a> for a card incorporating stamping on the inside as well as the outside. Practice makes perfect they say, so....I found two stamps and made this card.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRqDx9oc1I/AAAAAAAABr8/od_5srM4duo/s1600-h/PICT0977.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 186px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRqDx9oc1I/AAAAAAAABr8/od_5srM4duo/s200/PICT0977.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365029669289096018" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRp4NK4cDI/AAAAAAAABr0/cGRzQ3jHMaU/s1600-h/PICT0975.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 148px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRp4NK4cDI/AAAAAAAABr0/cGRzQ3jHMaU/s200/PICT0975.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365029470433996850" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRp3hL4o8I/AAAAAAAABrs/Brw3A4DgKm0/s1600-h/PICT0967.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SnRp3hL4o8I/AAAAAAAABrs/Brw3A4DgKm0/s200/PICT0967.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365029458627044290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Of course, I had to use the Bug and my new Fiskar border punch, which along with my scoreboard made a different kind of spine border and corner. The centre square is a Nestie and with using a smaller Nestie and embossing round it with an embossing pen you get the effect of layering. Mock layering - this could take on! I was amazing at what results I got from one small flower stamp stamped at different angles and decoupaged. Thanks for the challenge, I learned a lot! ikkiUnknownnoreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2047480255873720256.post-83126128668441235862009-07-01T11:56:00.003+01:002009-07-01T12:04:04.705+01:00One for the Girls and one for the Boys<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SktBH2oWgCI/AAAAAAAABiw/CB19I60GTDQ/s1600-h/PICT0904.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 115px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SktBH2oWgCI/AAAAAAAABiw/CB19I60GTDQ/s200/PICT0904.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353444185239617570" border="0" /></a>I don't know about you, but whether it's because of my PC playing up, or the weather, or bowling, or housework, or garden, but I seem unable to settle down to anything! Since my Cuttlebug Cupboard opened it's doors I have been soooo busy that time just flys, but then it does when you're having fun! <br /><br />I have managed a few cards - an Easter card for my grandchildren and a Just to say card for friends who were taken ill on holiday. I just love this paper, the colours and image are so spring like. Daffs are my fav in the spring, but at Christmas - no way!<br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SeRKuyt44mI/AAAAAAAABGw/WhxdRbR8wqU/s1600-h/PICT0643.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5324462827207451234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 112px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SeRKuyt44mI/AAAAAAAABGw/WhxdRbR8wqU/s200/PICT0643.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SeRKcgScnLI/AAAAAAAABGo/Q6LR8RLXUbc/s1600-h/PICT0641.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5324462513022868658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 144px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SeRKcgScnLI/AAAAAAAABGo/Q6LR8RLXUbc/s200/PICT0641.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />By back soon with a few more - thanks for dropping by.<br /><div><br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/85705/ikkiscorner/8565cd2173233134f4ffae023d5fee67.png" border="0" /></a></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2047480255873720256.post-45900581948273155712009-03-29T20:59:00.003+01:002009-03-29T21:05:56.227+01:003 in 1 Challenge Card Pink - Elephant/Penny Black/Cute Card<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/Sc_T2enasyI/AAAAAAAABDA/bv2z7S8kLAI/s1600-h/PICT0597.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318702617832633122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 138px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/Sc_T2enasyI/AAAAAAAABDA/bv2z7S8kLAI/s200/PICT0597.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Great challenges from all these sites this week. Now, I'm not normally<br />a bling girl, (ah, shame) more like a plain Jane (ah, shame),<br />But for once I had a go and it turned out definitely BLING for me.<br />It was so bling in fact that I struggled to get a picture of it!<br /><br />I used a flower punch to punch flowers into the silver glitter card, which I then matted onto Silver Mirror card. The PB image I coloured with prisma pencils and chalked the edges, this I then matted onto black glimmer paper. Gems and more glitter added<br />to make sure I had the total Bling effect. (Well for me anyway.)<br /><br />Have a good day!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/85705/ikkiscorner/8565cd2173233134f4ffae023d5fee67.png" border="0" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2047480255873720256.post-45857170077654310652009-02-17T20:55:00.002+00:002009-02-18T05:17:19.428+00:00Wow, two more awards<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SZsXc0KXf4I/AAAAAAAAA1U/Lgj6SXuBwTE/s1600-h/Kreativ_Award.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303858769964793730" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 128px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SZsXc0KXf4I/AAAAAAAAA1U/Lgj6SXuBwTE/s200/Kreativ_Award.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://eisbaerentraeume.blogspot.com/">Alex</a> has kindly nominated me with this great award. </div><div>Thanks Alex I appreciate this from such a talented crafter.<br />I'm passing this on to 5 great crafters whose blogs </div><div>I love to visit.<br /><a href="http://annescreativeside.blogspot.com/">Anne</a> <a href="http://skraptaculardesigns.blogspot.com/">Priscilla</a> <a href="http://ribberart.blogspot.com/">Jenny</a> <a href="http://precociouscrafter.blogspot.com/">Kelley</a> <a href="http://stampinglifesprescription.blogspot.com/">Traci</a><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://catchmecrafting.blogspot.com/">Julie</a> an old friend from DC has given me this award. Although, I know that crafters never need much of an excuse, do we! <br /><br />I for one, have not had any time today to make anything, but just in case you dropped by, I thought I'd tell you about my new venture. As many of you will know, I've been a keen Cuttlebug Fan ever since I was bitten last March and as a member of the DC forum, where I post some of my work, I started to received queries and questions about how, what, etc., so this week I have designed a new blog called "ikki's cuttlebug cupboard". I opened the Cupboard on Monday morning with my first tutorial - it might be a bit basic for many of you I know are advanced cuttlers, but I had to start somewhere that would not put beginners off, and I will move it forward as I come to terms with tutorials (well fingers crossed I will. It has worked really well, with over 500 visits since yesterday morning. Am I chuffed with this response, or what! I would greatly appreciate your support, and any advice in any way to advance Cuttling for the benefit of all. Thanks for dropping by, hope you'll look in the cupboard one day, but for or now - keep warm and, of course, keeeeeep cuttling. <br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/85705/ikkiscorner/8565cd2173233134f4ffae023d5fee67.png" border="0" /></a><a href="http://www.blogger.com/”http://..........”"> </a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2047480255873720256.post-63611759680725706082009-02-02T09:29:00.003+00:002009-02-02T09:38:16.640+00:00Penny Black Challenge<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SYa9Q_M5_JI/AAAAAAAAAqs/VQ3gfe0h2GA/s1600-h/PICT0100(1).JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298130111189089426" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 176px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P5JvAUWApJ0/SYa9Q_M5_JI/AAAAAAAAAqs/VQ3gfe0h2GA/s200/PICT0100(1).JPG" border="0" /></a><br />This week's challenge was for a circular card.
