Hi friends, thought I post this card and introduce you the Ridley the Raccoon. I think he's great fun and something different for me, and bright and cheerful to compensate for the weather!
So, thank you Andrea for sharing this little fellow with me.
If you are wondering how I created the corners, pop over to the the Cupboard and see how you can make them with Square Nesties.
Hope to catch up with my visiting soon, ikki

Child's Play
This week's challenge from Stamptacular Sunday Challengeis for a card designed for a child. Well, since I'm known to like playing - this one was a must!
I came by this stamp over a year ago from my craft group, but I've forgotten the name and maker. It's cute sticklike image and the football season approaching, made it jump out of the box. So I used the local Premier Team's colours and designed this.
To make it a bit different I made it a "wibbly, wobbly" card (probably not the proper name!). I've seen this done with an acetate strip, but using wire produces a much better wibble, wobble!
I was so pleased with the results of "playing" and with some new ideas that jumped out of my head, that I will be using this card in my tutorial next week. So if you think it interesting - drop by the Cupboard on Monday.
Thanks Stamptacular for the challenge.

Inside Out card
Since I'm relatively new to stamping, I though I'd have a go at this challenge from Stamptacular Sunday Challenge for a card incorporating stamping on the inside as well as the outside. Practice makes perfect they say, so....I found two stamps and made this card.
Of course, I had to use the Bug and my new Fiskar border punch, which along with my scoreboard made a different kind of spine border and corner. The centre square is a Nestie and with using a smaller Nestie and embossing round it with an embossing pen you get the effect of layering. Mock layering - this could take on! I was amazing at what results I got from one small flower stamp stamped at different angles and decoupaged. Thanks for the challenge, I learned a lot! ikki

One for the Girls and one for the Boys
I don't know about you, but whether it's because of my PC playing up, or the weather, or bowling, or housework, or garden, but I seem unable to settle down to anything! So, I packed my bag and went off to my craft class in the hope of inspiration! Thanks Andrea - two great ideas. The flip flop is a bit out of my zone, but different - the off on a journey I really enjoyed making, even the doing the colouring! Thanks for dropping by.

It's time I was posting again!!!!
Hi there, I'm so back and behind these days, my love of card making is definitely on the back burner! But, today I thought "get back in your Corner" and do something different!!!! What!!!!
I'm fed up with pinks and purples so I thought I'd like to go bright and cheerful for a change and these are the cards I came up with. Different for me, I think you'll agree.
Hope to be back soon. I'm trying to re-organized myself - not sure how successful, or how possible, that it!

Wedding Day Card
A card for my friend's Neice - I just love D'vine Swirls on wedding cards. Heart Nesties sit nicely on the debossed pattern and the extra embossing makes them stand out a treat! If you would like to know how this card was made - the tutorial is over in the Cupboard

Hi, I have been a bad blogger recently - I don't seem able these days to do challenges which I miss. Since my Cuttlebug Cupboard opened it's doors I have been soooo busy that time just flys, but then it does when you're having fun!
I have managed a few cards - an Easter card for my grandchildren and a Just to say card for friends who were taken ill on holiday. I just love this paper, the colours and image are so spring like. Daffs are my fav in the spring, but at Christmas - no way!

3 in 1 Challenge Card Pink - Elephant/Penny Black/Cute Card
Great challenges from all these sites this week. Really enjoyed joining in.
Pink Elephant challenge was a textured background and layout which I acheived by using Cuttlebug folder Fantasy Flowers
Cute card challenge asked for a family card
Penny Black challenge was for a Spring theme
I think I managed this, but the picture quality is poor.

Partial embossing Cuttlebug with my modifying folder pad
Hi, I thought I would share with you my new way of partial embossing
I have used the Stylized Flower folder and made a modifying folder pad (MFP) which gives a whole new look to the original pattern.
If you would like to know just how I achieved this, pop over to ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard where you will find a tutorial on using this method of embossing.

The Pink Elephant 2#
This week's challenge was for BLING. Now, I'm not normally
a bling girl, (ah, shame) more like a plain Jane (ah, shame),
But for once I had a go and it turned out definitely BLING for me.
It was so bling in fact that I struggled to get a picture of it!
I used a flower punch to punch flowers into the silver glitter card, which I then matted onto Silver Mirror card. The PB image I coloured with prisma pencils and chalked the edges, this I then matted onto black glimmer paper. Gems and more glitter added
to make sure I had the total Bling effect. (Well for me anyway.)
Have a good day!

Pink Elephant's First Challenge
Great new challenge from Pink Elephant. This weeks remit was to use the colours of Pink, White and Black. I tried something different by way of layout - you know how you have a picture in your head - and it doesn't seem to work out on paper - well this happened with this card.
Paper: A hint of pink
Nesties
Ribbon and bits from
stash
Have a great weekend.
