The Pink Elephant 2#
This week's challenge was for BLING. Now, I'm not normally
a bling girl, (ah, shame) more like a plain Jane (ah, shame),
But for once I had a go and it turned out definitely BLING for me.
It was so bling in fact that I struggled to get a picture of it!
I used a flower punch to punch flowers into the silver glitter card, which I then matted onto Silver Mirror card. The PB image I coloured with prisma pencils and chalked the edges, this I then matted onto black glimmer paper. Gems and more glitter added
to make sure I had the total Bling effect. (Well for me anyway.)
Have a good day!

Pink Elephant's First Challenge
Great new challenge from Pink Elephant. This weeks remit was to use the colours of Pink, White and Black. I tried something different by way of layout - you know how you have a picture in your head - and it doesn't seem to work out on paper - well this happened with this card.
Paper: A hint of pink
Nesties
Ribbon and bits from
stash
Have a great weekend.

Does this card interest you?
Hi, if you own a CB (or perhaps one is on your list!) then you may be interested to know how I made this card and the way I have used the cuttlebug folders and Nesties dies. Over here in Ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard
I have done a tutorial on how it was achieved.
This technique makes folders far more versatile,
and Cuttlebug fans like this!!!
Your comments on the tutorial would be of great interest to me for future illustrations. The learning curve is steep, but I want to make the top!!!
Enjoy your day,

of the papers is call "frenzy"! Where will this take me?

My new Cuttlebug Cupboard Blog
Hi, It's very cold here, but we've had very little snow, just the kind of day for crafting. Although, I know that crafters never need much of an excuse, do we!
I for one, have not had any time today to make anything, but just in case you dropped by, I thought I'd tell you about my new venture. As many of you will know, I've been a keen Cuttlebug Fan ever since I was bitten last March and as a member of the DC forum, where I post some of my work, I started to received queries and questions about how, what, etc., so this week I have designed a new blog called "ikki's cuttlebug cupboard". I opened the Cupboard on Monday morning with my first tutorial - it might be a bit basic for many of you I know are advanced cuttlers, but I had to start somewhere that would not put beginners off, and I will move it forward as I come to terms with tutorials (well fingers crossed I will. It has worked really well, with over 500 visits since yesterday morning. Am I chuffed with this response, or what! I would greatly appreciate your support, and any advice in any way to advance Cuttling for the benefit of all. Thanks for dropping by, hope you'll look in the cupboard one day, but for or now - keep warm and, of course, keeeeeep cuttling.

Penny Black Challenge
This week's challenge was for a circular card. I have had this image for ages and never known what to do with it. My Granddaughter has a 6th Birthday soon, she loves ballet classes and CATS. So, today was it's day!
Unfortunately, despite the brightness caused by the snow, the
glitter card has refused to do it's bit, and has blurred the image slightly, and then there's the shadow! Oh, well.....purr-fect I'm not!
Paper: Bo Bunnys - Curley Swirls
Penny Black image - name unknown
bit and bobs from stash - should have used a brighter necklace!
Thanks for popping in.
