Partial embossing Cuttlebug with my modifying folder pad

Hi, I thought I would share with you my new way of partial embossing

I have used the Stylized Flower folder and made a modifying folder pad (MFP) which gives a whole new look to the original pattern.

If you would like to know just how I achieved this, pop over to ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard where you will find a tutorial on using this method of embossing.

Pink Elephant's First Challenge

Great new challenge from Pink Elephant. This weeks remit was to use the colours of Pink, White and Black. I tried something different by way of layout - you know how you have a picture in your head - and it doesn't seem to work out on paper - well this happened with this card.

Paper: A hint of pink
Nesties
Ribbon and bits from
stash

Have a great weekend.

Cuttlbug Challenge 18#

A shaped card!?!!?! Yes, well, !?!? Then I found template for this ....... and so my Flapper Hat.
My cuttlebug flower interested so many last week, that I will post a tutorial follow up on Sunday here in my Cuttlebug Cupboard.

Does this card interest you?

Hi, if you own a CB (or perhaps one is on your list!) then you may be interested to know how I made this card and the way I have used the cuttlebug folders and Nesties dies. Over here in Ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard
I have done a tutorial on how it was achieved.

This technique makes folders far more versatile,
and Cuttlebug fans like this!!!
Your comments on the tutorial would be of great interest to me for future illustrations. The learning curve is steep, but I want to make the top!!!

Enjoy your day,

1 Acetate
1 Frame

Cuttlebug Challenge #16

A "distressed card" was the remit this week. Not something I do!

BUT, nothing ventured - nothing gained, SO ........here is my take.

The flower I made using handmade paper which I cut with nesties
and embossed with the textile pattern. The centre panel is embossed on core c/s, embossed with Frills border and distressed line folder
then sanded.

Cuttlebug folders: Textile, Distressed lines,Frills flowerborder, Nestie scallop and circle.

Thanks for stopping by, your comments are
always welcome.

Basic Grey Challenge

Another great challenge sketch - this one took some
thinking (and messing around with) for me. My head seems
empty apart from my cold, but crossing my fingers wishing my
cold away probably didn't help! Anyway.... here it is....

Papers: Basic Grey - Sultry
Stamp: Hobby Art and rose from See D's
Cuttlebug border and Nesties Small label
Fiskars Circle punch - Victorian

Thanks for stopping by, hope you don't catch my cold.
