The Pink Elephant 2#

This week's challenge was for BLING. Now, I'm not normally
a bling girl, (ah, shame) more like a plain Jane (ah, shame),
But for once I had a go and it turned out definitely BLING for me.
It was so bling in fact that I struggled to get a picture of it!

I used a flower punch to punch flowers into the silver glitter card, which I then matted onto Silver Mirror card. The PB image I coloured with prisma pencils and chalked the edges, this I then matted onto black glimmer paper. Gems and more glitter added
to make sure I had the total Bling effect. (Well for me anyway.)

Have a good day!

Penny Black Week 35 and Basic Grey Week 22

This week's challenge from PB was "Romance" and we could all

do with a bit of this in our lives, so .... how's about a cuddle? ... followed by a kiss? ..... I feel better already!

The Basic Grey's challenge this week was to "mix it up" so....
now we have ...cuddles....kisses....and their super paper EUPHORIA and SULTRY....I'm now a bit worried because one
of the papers is call "frenzy"! Where will this take me?

Stamp by PB watercoloured, Paper BG, Nestie small label and Alphabet, Fiskars diamond border punch
Thanks for dropping by, I'd love to hear from you.

Basic Grey and Penny Black challenge

Two challenges in one this week - real pleased with myself !

The Basic Grey Challenge which was for a recipe that I have never attempted before. I used two pattern papers (SULTRY) one ribbon and bow, one button, three brads as required.

The Penny Black Challenge asked "Frame it". To acheive
the frame - my CB came to the rescue, I used my new shapes which I mounted on foam to get a 3D effect.
I'd say this turned out a cutie one! Thanks for stopping by.

Penny Black Challenge - 31

The challenge this week was for a card using Brown and Pink and, of course, a PB image.
Having made a few cards of this colour combo over the last few
weeks - guess what? Yes, I was somewhat restricted with a shortage of papers. (More papers needed - add to shopping list.) Any excuse! You know I'm never this good at making a list for other shopping, but crafting....no prob.

Papers from HOTP, Nesties labels small and large with a twist - what do you think? I think it's worked. It looks a bit out, but it's an optical illusion, honest!

I'm off on a visit to Edinburgh tomorrow to see my daughter and two beautiful granddaughters. I shall only be able to visit you, but unfortunately will not be able to contribute to any challenges, but I'll be back - probably with more papers! Have a good crafting week.
